Welcome to the family!

So, you might notice that my pregnancy countdown is gone. I was induced on July 15th (Tuesday) and Noah David Bell was born at 4:15 pm. He was 10lbs. 2oz. and 20 inches. Yeah, that's right. He's a big guy. The labor went well, but he has since had some major problems. He's in the neonatal intensive care unit in a different hospital than he was born in. He got a bad infection that caused breathing and heart problems. He is getting a little better every day. He'll be there until sometime next week. Fortunately, he's tough and will be fine soon. We did manage to get some cute pictures of him before he got hooked up to about 20 different tubes. We're so excited that he's finally here and we're grateful the doctors and nurses caught his breathing difficulties when they did. He's in great hands. There will be more pictures to come, once he gets to come home.

Memories

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought I was cool. It's a lot better than tagging, that's for sure! So I'm giving it a try and I can't wait to see what happens.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I'm not good under pressure!!!

Okay, okay, I said I wouldn't do this, but I'm going to. I'm no good when it comes to peer pressure! So, I decided, since it's only a few days before I have my third baby, I would post a picture of my big belly. I have to say, this isn't too bad of a picture. I owe it all to my awesome husband for taking it for me. He got me at an angle that makes me look small. I have been told the past few weeks that I do look small, but I think it's mostly been coming from people who have never had babies before. I don't know. What do you think? Please leave a comment, no matter how harsh. I can take it. I just won't read the mean comments until after my hormones have settled down a bit after having the baby. Well, without further ado........

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

Why I'll never own a bird

My friend Brittney and I took our kids to the zoo (by the way, don't do this if you're 8 1/2 months pregnant and it's 100 degrees outside!). On the way out, Eli spotted a macaw. This is one of the many animals he wants as a pet. We stopped to look for a few minutes and I was able to capture this wonderful video. Eli's the one in the blue shirt. The other little boy is his best buddy Tanner. Make sure your volume is all the way up so you can get the full effect of the moment. ENJOY!!!
