Leah's dance recital

A few Saturdays ago, Leah had another dance recital.  It was super cute.  She loved doing it.  She did a great job.  I love watching her dance!!  Here are some pics.  I took a video of her dance, but it won't upload.  I'm really sad about it. She knew all the choreography and actually did it before the other girls on stage because she didn't need to wait for the teacher to prompt her.  She just remembered what to do!

See how short her hair is?  I let her get it cut before the recital.  My friend did it.  She chopped off 7 inches!  That's what Leah wanted.  Now it's not so knotty and crazy!  And fortunately, it doesn't require much styling to look nice. 

And after a year of dance and two recitals, I'm happy to say Leah wants to stick with it.  I'm so glad.  She kept saying she wants to do karate, but that can be really expensive!  I think we can stick with this for a while and when she gets older, she can switch or do two things.  I want to keep it simple and beautiful for now.
