Putting the Polish blood to work!

I meant to post about this quite a while ago, but I forgot. While Grammy was here during Easter, we decided to make good use of our Polish side (of which we are so proud) and make pierogies. The little ones got to help and proved themselves to be great workers!

The Helpers:
Not pictured: Grammy, Becca and Uncle Mike

Aunt Shaina's not Polish, but we let her help anyway.

Eli was sad because he had to wait for a rolling pin.

The Result:

The Reviews:

There were mixed opinions on the pierogies. We tried a different kind of flour in the dough, so they didn't taste as good as they normally would, but they were eaten anyway! We don't waste perfectly good food around here! My Polish Papa would be proud.

Leah looks like a little Polish Princess! Looks like you could open your own restaurant, with all those helping hands.

annie,

i'm sure we can make perogies too, but it looks like we need a deep-fryer...
