Hello, and WELCOME to America's favorite game show:
What Did Noah Spill This Time?
I'm your host, Upset Mommy. Now, let me just explain the rules really quick for those who are new to the show. The object of the game is to correctly guess the answers to three simple questions before time runs out. For each answer you get correct, you receive a silver star. If you get all three answers correct within the time limit, you get a gold star.
Now let's begin. Okay, Question #1: What did Noah spill on Friday? You have 30 seconds to respond......
I'm sorry, that's not correct. The correct answer is dish washer soap.
That's alright, there are still two more questions. You can still receive 2 silver stars.
Question #2: Where did Noah spill the soap?
Oh, you ran out of time. The answer is on the carpet right by the front door. I'm sorry. Well, there is still one more silver star to be won!
Question #3: How mad did that make his mom?
That's correct! Very mad because it BLEACHED the carpet!! But after a while, Noah's mom was not mad any more because it was really her fault for not putting away the dish washer soap and not rinsing the carpet well enough, quickly enough. Unfortunately, you can't undo a bleached carpet.
Congratulations! You won 1 silver star. There is a bonus round however. You still have a chance to win a gold star if you leave a comment with a suggestion on what to do about the carpet to permanently hide the stain. (Keep in mind we are renters, so it's not like we can just leave it or put a rug over it)
Well, that's all for our show tonight. Thanks for playing! And tune in next time to find out.....

Every few weeks, I get to go into Eli's class and read story books to the kids. I really like it because the kids say some really funny things and they're always really excited to have a special guest (known as the Royal Reader) in the classroom. So, yesterday I got to go yet again. As I was walking up and taking my seat, I said, "Hi everyone! I'm Mrs. Bell. I'm Eli's mom." They all love to know whose mom is the Royal Reader for the day. After I said that and was getting ready for the first book, a cute, little, blond girl on the top row of the steps who was sitting next to Eli said this to me:
"I love it when Eli's mom is here because that means Eli is here. And I have to tell you something...I think I'm falling in love with your son."
Wow! I just had to laugh, and so I did, but not too much. Then I responded, for complete lack of something better to say, "Well, he's a great kid!" And then I proceeded to read my stories. Eli didn't say anything. He just sat there with a big smile on his face and none of the other kids had any idea what was going on. They all just sat, waiting for me to start the first book.
If he's got someone totally smitten in kindergarten, what's going to happen when he gets older? I have a feeling I'm going to have to get an unlisted phone number and a bat to beat the girls off.
I haven't posted in a while because I've been cleaning up after Noah. Here's what he spilled this week:
~300 Q tips
~Milk from his cereal bowl (on more than one morning)
~Princess Bubbles (he left a lovely trail down the hall too)
~1/3 of a bottle of syrup
That's probably not everything. If I left anything out, it's because I forgot or haven't found the mess yet. Fortunately, he's really cute, so I can't get too mad.

Just a half hour ago, I was sitting at this very computer thinking, "I would really like some cookies right now." (I think that often actually, but I never get any) And I swear not 5 minutes later, my sweetheart walks in the door with a Macey's bag in his hand. At first I thought it was just full of medicine since he was just getting home from the doctor--he has bronchitis. So, I jokingly asked, "What do you have in the Macey's bag? Is it cookies?" Just then, he turned the bag around so I could see through the translucent plastic and behold in big letters "Chips Ahoy! CHUNKY"!!! Wholly crap, I was ridiculously excited and made all sorts of happy sounds. I gave him a big hug and kiss and the promptly helped myself to some chocolaty goodness. After reaching in the bag for my last cookie, I thanked him again and then promised to share the rest of the bag with the kids after dinner. After the kids each get a few cookies, the bag will magically disappear, never be seen or heard from again....that is except by me!!!!!
