Pictures to somewhat catch you up...

Leah had a dance recital in May.

Isn't she so beautiful?

The boys finished another soccer season, also in May.  They both were on very good teams.  This coming fall, Noah gets to start playing with goalies.  He wants to be the goalie for his team.

In July, Noah turned 7.

Naomi turned 3 the next day.

We started home school again!  For our first day of school, we went on a campus tour of BYU.  We did that to give the kids some inspiration and an end goal in sight.  It is very possible to go to a major university if you have been homeschooled.  Notice something different about Noah?  He has glasses!  That's a very new thing.  Doesn't he look like a mini version of Eli?

When you go to BYU, you have to stop at the creamery to have some ice cream!  That's an essential part of a first day of school outing.

We had our first history craft.  We learned about the fall of Rome.  We made Roman things out of sugar cookie dough.  After baking the cookies, we pretended to be barbarians and destroyed the Roman creations.

Naomi was nice enough to let me make her cookie while she cleaned the table with her tongue.  That white stuff is powdered sugar.

Eli made the Colosseum.

Noah made a lion that the Roman Gladiators would fight in the Colosseum.

Leah's creation, I think, was the temple of Zeus.  She forgot that Zeus was Greek.  So she changed it was Jupiter instead.

Naomi (meaning me) made a Roman building facade, with columns.

This picture is included because it's the best one I have of Leah with her new hair cut.  Yesterday, she had about 6 inches of hair chopped off.  It makes her look so much older.  If I can get a good one, I'll post another picture later.

I love these precious children! Even the one
on Rebecca's lap in the picture where they are sitting
in the vehicle for the BYU tour.
