The Game Show Network

Hello, and WELCOME to America's favorite game show:

What Did Noah Spill This Time?

I'm your host, Upset Mommy. Now, let me just explain the rules really quick for those who are new to the show. The object of the game is to correctly guess the answers to three simple questions before time runs out. For each answer you get correct, you receive a silver star. If you get all three answers correct within the time limit, you get a gold star.

Now let's begin. Okay, Question #1: What did Noah spill on Friday? You have 30 seconds to respond......

I'm sorry, that's not correct. The correct answer is dish washer soap.

That's alright, there are still two more questions. You can still receive 2 silver stars.

Question #2: Where did Noah spill the soap?

Oh, you ran out of time. The answer is on the carpet right by the front door. I'm sorry. Well, there is still one more silver star to be won!

Question #3: How mad did that make his mom?

That's correct! Very mad because it BLEACHED the carpet!! But after a while, Noah's mom was not mad any more because it was really her fault for not putting away the dish washer soap and not rinsing the carpet well enough, quickly enough. Unfortunately, you can't undo a bleached carpet.

Congratulations! You won 1 silver star. There is a bonus round however. You still have a chance to win a gold star if you leave a comment with a suggestion on what to do about the carpet to permanently hide the stain. (Keep in mind we are renters, so it's not like we can just leave it or put a rug over it)

Well, that's all for our show tonight. Thanks for playing! And tune in next time to find out.....

My sister spilled bleach right in the middle of our front room carpet a few years back. We had some spare carpet and a carpet came and cut out the spot and glued in a new piece. Wala. Couldn't tell the difference. He also said that if you don't have extra carpet people sometimes cut a piece of carpet out of a closet and use that to fix the spot. And I thought Adin spilling an entire jug of apple juice on my kitchen floor was bad! ;)

Ahh! I'm crying for you!! I (yes I)did the same thing while cleaning our old apartment. I spilled toilet bowl cleaner and it bleached the carpet. I was so ticked at myself especially when we had to play $400 for new carpeting... I really don't want to talk about it anymore.... Anyway a friend told me (way to late to be helpful but maybe it will help you)that you can stain the carpet back to that lovely brown carpet color with tea bags. I guess this would only work if your carpets are brown but maybe the idea of dying it will spark your creativity. Let me know how it turns out.
