This past Sunday, Noah David Bell was blessed at church. It was a wonderful day!! We had lots of family members present. It's really a wonderful thing seeing so many worthy men who hold the priesthood take Noah in their hands and bless him. Of course, I got a little misty eyed, but that's to be expected. Thanks to all those who participated, especially Noah, who got all of his fussing out of his system right before the blessing. He didn't make a single peep the whole time. And, apparently, his eyes were open and he was staring at Mike while he gave the blessing. I know this because my father-in-law's eyes were also open and he was watching Noah. Obviously some of the Bell boys need to work on their reverence during prayers.

For the sake of history I must clarify some factual errors. Noah was great and everything seemed to be going smoothly, but the following phrase bears scrutiny:
"He didn't make a single peep the whole time."
I should have asked everyone in the circle if they heard a quiet rumbling noise toward the end of the blessing. I heard said noises, and they happened to be coming from the hindquarters of the little man of the hour. The funny thing is that the deacon holding the microphone up to my face was holding it rather low at that moment, so subconsciously I was wondering if the entire congregation had heard the gaseous emissions. It took some doing to stay focused, but thankfully I pulled through. Ergo, Noah did make noise, but magically it passed everyone's attention.
As a sidenote, I feel that I don't need to work on my reverence during prayers. ;)
I wish we could have been there :(
I am bummed we couldn't be there! You guys all look so nice in your pictures!
