Yesterday, I was being silly with my hair and put a ponytail on the top of my head. Since my hair is short, it was pointing out all over the place. Eli thought it was pretty cool. He said to me, as he was playing with my ponytail, "Someday when I'm a girl and have long hair, I'm going to do that too!" I laughed on the outside, but shuddered on the inside. I seriously hope that day never comes!!!

Ah, the innocence of youth! If only Eli knew just how much half of the things he says scare the crap out of us... I'm going to do all in my power to ensure that the aforementioned never occurs.

Thats too funny, it's uncomfortable moments like that when you start to think that this parenting thing might get a little tricky :)At least Eli will have a brother to keep him on the right path :)
